Cracker Wastes A day after the Diwali, roads of major cities, towns and villages of our country were polluted with remains of crackers and sweet boxes, where the sales of crackers has been banned by the Supreme court. According to Municipal Corporation, the waste produced by the city increased by nearly 30-35%  on the day after Diwali. Municipal Corporation claimed its safai karamcharis worked around the clock during the festive season to make sure the city is as clean as possible.
